I walked into a mirror
And found myself trapped inside
You looked at me for a moment
I stared at you for awhile, and smiled
Five o'clock in the morning, I rose
And found myself trapped inside your fragile mind
You woke just for a moment
And I could see through your eyes, it looked alright
That's when I knew that I may never come home
So let the other folks know
And let the animals go
I may never come home
Later on in the morning, you rose
You stood and shook off the night, then turned and sighed
Left a note on the cabinet
And muttered, that is all I've got to say,
I think I'm done with this life,
You're on my mind
That's when we both knew we may never come home
So let the other folks know
And let the animals go
We may never come home
