See her on the dance floor
There's so much more to this life than there was before
So much easier moving through the world when you got a heavy beat
With your headphones on when you're rolling down the street
When you wake in the morning
It's so quiet, you can hear someone is snoring
But you don't mind it 'cause everybody else in the house is asleep
Everybody else in the house
I've been thinking I should learn another language
Take some courses at the local community college
Or just take the train to Kreuzberg and jump right into it
It's either that or end up at a gas station asking, Spreken ze English?
I got blisters on my finger
Like Ringo Starr, but they're not from playing drums, they're from doing laundry
Washing out my socks in the hotel sink
Hanging them to dry while we're doing other sink
And in the evening when we lay down
It's so quiet, you can hear all the small sounds
We don't mind it 'cause everybody else in the house is asleep
Everybody else in the house
I've been thinking I should learn another language
Maybe ake some courses at the local community college
Or just take the train to Kreuzberg and jump right into it
It's either that or end up at a gas station asking, Spreken ze English?
