Hands bound to the mines
hearts pound with every explosion
veins surface once the dust has settled
live another day
blinding darkness sets aflame
to the mountain's remains.
Lungs collapse
deepen the wound
that divides man from the mines.
The mountain swallows what's left
The rain will wash the prints away
and a brother shall take the place
the foothold lets go for nothing.
keep digging for something
digging for a way out.
