Miscellaneous
Sanctuary
There's an ache I can't quite put my finger on,
Something vague and uneasy,
And I just need someone - anyone to listen;
But these days have a way of moving on,
And everyone's so busy; my heart cries for peace,
My eyes strain for vision-
There's got to be a place where all is heard and forgiven.
Chorus:
So I search fo santuary,
Like a bird on homing wing;
You quench my thirst
And end my search with the shelter that You bring;
In everything You are my sanctuary-
Sanctuary.
When I need a space that I can call my own,
Away from all the madness;
No, it isn't in this world I'm ever gonna find it.
Only You can take me where I need to go;
When I'm broken and defenseless,
You give me new sight;
When my spirit's blinded
And when my life's in need of meaning,
You alone provide it.
(repeat chorus)
In everything You are my santuary-
Santuary.
