Words cut like diamonds through this window pane,
Voices crashing loudly, in what seems to drown the rain.
And I speak in tounges and clench my fist,
In hopes to shine some light on this mess.
You point your gun right in my face,
Lucky for me you've never been one to shoot it straight.
So i dodge your bullets, cut and sway,
Your words don't bother me so I say.
How much longer will i wait for these skies to turn from grey.
And your lies will wind up only hurting you.
But i will wait for the sun to go but return,
in light of all the pain you put me through,
i wish you only knew.
Now when poison is burning through my veins,
Well I'm hoping that you are to blame.
This truth you find in me,
I'm losing can't you see, and now I know.
When guns go and leave you lying in the sand,
Well I promise you I'll be the bigger man,
and bite my tongue, just know that son I'm here to stay.
And how much longer will I wait for these skies
To turn from grey. And your lies will wind up only hurting you.
But i will wait for the sun to go but return,
In light of all the pain you put me through,
The pain you put me through, the pain you put me through.
You know I will be a fool, to ever take my eyes off of you.
You know I will be a fool, to ever take my eyes off of you.
