I sleep all my days away. I live for the night.
As I awake in the dying light, I see the shadows of the fall.
I watch the stars again; I forget the sun.
The moon gives me hope in this endless run.
I pace in this mystery land. This place, my home.
I gaze at this familiar view, but still I wonder.
I somehow see these two worlds. Bright light and the darkness.
Between the sun and the moon I fall into silence.
I hear the calling, a breeze through my soul.
I hear the calling. In between I roam.
The sun dreams of the moon. The moon gives him hope.
The sun dreams of the moon. The moon promises, never lies.
The sun dreams of the moon. The moon gives him hope.
The sun dreams of the moon. The moon promises, never dies.
Illusions break my mind, a dream comes alive.
Illusions that I have defied, cast in delusion.
And so I realize my days were nights.
All that I’ve ever believed in were lies in the moonlight.
And I, I don’t need anyone. I don’t need anyone at all…
